Adalyn Grace knows how to write relationships. Whether it is the romance between Blythe and Fate (and Signa and Death) or the relationship Blythe has with her father and cousin, it hits me right in the heart. For any K-drama fans, this is so similar to Goblin both in plot and emotional impact.
This is a slow burn, but I loved seeing Blythe and Fate come together.I just wish they had more time together.
The antagonist felt a bit two dimensional in this book and left a few questions unanswered, but otherwise no complaints!
I cried. A lot. And definitely plan to re-read as soon as I’m emotionally ready.
