Review #1: Very brief read, but the start of an intriguing story.
Review #2: I don't think this story flows well. There seem to be jumps which could have used a few more panels and some parts (e.g., Gigei) seem to be forced into the story to me. Overall, things could have been more developed. Moreover, I also am not a fan of Ashura, the child, but that might just be me disliking how children are generally written in literature.
I am not really fond of the art and prefer the newer CLAMP style much more.
