This book was a bit different from the rest of the series but it was amazing as all of Cora's books have been. She is one of my favourite authors & I have always loved the characters she has written. Diablo & Skylar were amazing characters and the spicy chemistry between them gah love it so much.
Diablo is the brattiest character I have ever read but it's only a facade to not show his vulnerability to others, as his father has said not to show anyone if you are weak, so when after a hacking incident which puts him in danger he is said to be in safe house with his bodyguard Skylar. But Diablo doesn't like to be caged so he starts acting like the usual brat he is & starts to annoy Skylar. After Diablo tries to act out & Skylar's patience is worn out and he spanks Diablo & God there is a lot of spanking & I love every second of it & Diablo does too but he just denies it like always.
I liked how after some spankings & few intimate scenes Skylar starts to understand Diablo & cares for him & also calls him "Mine" in his mind. They had a different relationship from the other couples in the series but they were amazing in their way. As always I loved Cora's writing style & though it was the first time she has written dub/con or CNC moments, she has written it amazingly & I loved this book.
I am looking forward to other books in this series & I want Angel's book as well but I am also looking forward to Ben's book. I recommend you check out this series because it's an amazing series & you will not be disappointed.
