Fate of the Fallen by Kel Kade
2.5
I’m not sure how I feel about this book. I was completely surprised by the twist in the first few chapters. What kept me reading was the banter.
However, there was so much I didn’t enjoy. The talking head got old, I felt at times that pays off the stuff we’re missing as we shifted from one view to the next, and (yes I’m aware that there’s a sequel), the end didn’t connect to the beginning very well. We don’t know who was speaking and how it connects to Aaslo.
I’m torn because I want to know what happens but don’t know that I want to read the next book.
