Loyal Vows by Ketley Allison

That was disappointing.

The FMC was despondent one second and in a fugue state then killing something the next? She was woe is me and I have to help save everybody because it's the right thing to do one second then all of a sudden I'm a badass and do whatever I takes the next damn the consequences. She was I'm in love with him one second then I'm over him the next then I'm in love with him the next. She gave me whiplash and annoyed the hell out of me and she wasn't the only chatacter to do so.

The plot was chaotic, the only saving grace was the continuing intrigue of the mystery and some good spice.

I kept reading, staying up far too late, hoping it would redeem itself and get better and it just kept getting worse. Really disappointing after such a great 1st book.
