H.P. Lovecraft's the Dunwich Horror by Joe R. Lansdale

3.0

The Dunwich Horror is an updated version of the story, set in current times. I was not impressed with the artwork. I guess it is to be expected--how can Lovecraft's words truly be translated into pictures? The horror of the story is in evoking our own inner nightmares--the pictures detract from that for me. The second story, The Hound, was aggravating. The words were written in a hard to read font that took away from the pleasure of the story.

All in all it was an okay read, but I will stick with the original works.
