I absolutely loved this book. I have never read a book with this premise, and it was exciting to hear about a 50's starlet and Hollywood from a fictional POV. It delved into the complexity of sexuality, relationships, and marriage and left me thinking so much about it. The characters themselves are never two-dimensional, they are complicated and complex. Many had so many flaws such as Evelyn, and I loved that the author didn't shy away from that. I can't believe how the author made me hate Don Adler at the beginning but made me feel almost pity towards them at the end. The author did such an amazing job bringing this story to life. The plot twist at the end was something I never saw coming and the last 50 pages of this book were so, so emotional. I wholeheartedly recommend this book.
