Uncanny X-Force, Vol. 2: Deathlok Nation by Rick Remender

5.0

First reread in several years, but I have probably reread this run as much as any other. It still holds up and remains one of the best x-men runs. This second trade picks up some threads of Jason Aaron’s Wolverine series, and some of them will go on to be reused by Remender in Secret Avengers. This team had so many interesting dynamics. Fantomex and The World, two of my favorite creations from Grant Morrison’s New X-Men, take central focus here, and the way Deathlok is interwoven is seem less. Remender also made me like Deadpool. The art is fantastic and Dean White is the glue that holds everything together.
