Filthy English by Ilsa Madden-Mills

4.0

4.5☆ I really loved Dirty English so I was really excited to dive into Filthy English. Dax was a fun character in Dirty English and I was very interested to learn more about him. I really liked how the story started with Dax and Remi meeting again, it was very entertaining and Made the story very interesting. You don't know much about their history and there is mystery still there. Right of the bat their chemistry is fantastic and they have such a pull towards each other. I liked how there was a build up in their relationship and it had a natural flow to it. I enjoyed that Dax was much more than what he projects on the surface, he is much deeper than others get to see. Both he and Remi had some history with each other that they both need to address and over come in order to move forward. They both are genuine characters and fix with each other, but take some time to beable to reach that place. I liked their build up in their relationship towards the end. I liked that their journey wasn't a stereotypical book romance. They are different and that made the story all the better. I was very interested in them and rooting for them the entire novel, I felt very invested in them. I really enjoyed this book and loved the writing. I am all the more excited to read more by Ilsa now!
