Batman (2016-) #60 by Tom King, Mikel Janín

4.0

That explains the sick tale about the rabbit in the pithole! And it's kind of fitting that Bruce's gonna have to avenge his boy and to save his father figure by fighting off his actual father (I mean, this is clearly a multiverse Thomas, probably the one whose Martha became the Joker given how fucked up he is, but he's still technically Bruce's dad). I thought he had fallen all the way down after issue 50, but it seems like Tom King plans on finding more and more terrible ways to hurt him. It's gonna be a miracle if he doesn't go clinically insane by the end of this series! At least we got the confirmation that he didn't leave the Beast to die. That's a relief. Given how dark King's Batman is, a part of me was expecting him to cross that line, but there's no way he didn't know about the spies therefore he knew he could unleash his full fury on the Beast without sacrificing his moral compass. I just hope the Bat family will be more involved, now. It's a shame they haven't been featured a lot so far, especially with all the crap they've all been through. They deserve a nice, cosy, Christmas special.
