False Knees: An Illustrated Guide to Animal Behavior by Joshua Barkman

5.0

Love it. It delights in the mundane. Its sincere. It expertly leaves much left unsaid, and I don't know if it's perfectly subtle expressions or a complete lack of them that allows for bird faces to portray so much under-the-surface thoughts and feelings. It's like a magic trick sometimes, wondering how the artist just got you to genuinely feel just based on like two words, some pictures of leaves, and a bird face.
