This is my first read by Lexie Blake/Sophie Oak. I went into this book blind and was pleasantly surprised. Away From Me is a quick, spicy, and emotional read. The author combines light BDSM with a plot that tugs at the heartstrings. Cal and Gabriella start as a dom/sub relationship, but Gabriella wants more than what Cal is willing to give. After realizing he shouldn't have let Gabriella go, Cal does everything he can to get her back. With this being a short read, I didn't expect it to impact me as much as it did. The characters grow throughout the story, make their way back to each other, and Cal is finally about to express his true feelings for Gabriella. 

AUDIOBOOK: 
The narrator did an excellent job with this story. I could listen to Sebastian York read just about anything. His performance was great and kept me engaged.
