A Big Little Life: A Memoir of a Joyful Dog by Dean Koontz

funny lighthearted reflective medium-paced

2.0

I would rate this book higher, but the author was unlikable in my opinion. He had strong opinions that missed the mark for me and I don’t know if it was meant to be a little funny or charming how adamantly he proclaimed some statements about his beliefs or about his interpretations of his dog- but again it wasn’t a hit for me.
He also makes a plug for every book he ever authored and battles with sharing the spotlight with the main character of the book.
Read “Marley and Me” instead!
