On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft by Stephen King

I don't usually like writing books (oddly enough) because good ones are ridiculously rare. I picked this one up because I adore the author, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. King wrote it after his accident--almost as a response--and it combines the story of how he began writing with the story of how hard writing was for him after the accident. And there are some gems in there for those of us who write as well.
