This is definitely my least favorite of TJR’s books. It felt like a Wattpad fanfiction that was trying to take itself a little too seriously.
There were moments I enjoyed. I enjoyed the Riva family history flashbacks. Beyond that, I couldn’t tell you what happened in this book.
It moved too fast while not explaining anything at all in a timely manner. It was a little too dramatic, without seeming ready to slow down.
I enjoyed the nods to some of TJR’s other characters. It was a fun set of Easter eggs.
Would not recommend to others who like TJR’s books unless they like to be confused.
