colleen hoover redemption from 2.5 to 3?
i can't believe i've read three colleen hoover in one month.. why.. help.. this is the power of audiobooks and crocheting. (i've been undoing and redoing different projects with the same yarn about 5 different times and all that while ben and fallons rollercoaster romance has been getting me through it)
this reminded me of the Before Trilogy which is one of my favourite things to come out of the film industry so i was well excited. i think the premise was executed well and i loved seeing their suffering.
the 'right person, wrong time' trope is probably my favourite romance trope right now so this was a good book for it though i wish that the ending could have been more bittersweet.
for some reason, i really struggle to connect with colleen hoover's characters but i definitely preferred these people compared to the characters in verity and it ends with us.
TLDR, better but not great.
