This is a series I really enjoyed.
I know people down voted the first book saying it was a cheap imitation of Six of Crows (which the greatest book ever) or The Gilded Wolves but people should give this a chance and you can see from the reviews on the second book, it's worth reading.
This second book is short only 350 pages so the pace is fast which is good. There is no filler and the quieter moments, especially between Wesley and Tavia are some of the best bits of the books.
Lastly, Tavia is the best character in this series and I love her.
