From the Corner of the Oval Office: One Woman's True Story of Her Accidental Career in the Obama White House by Beck Dorey-Stein

3.0

3.5. I appreciated the different perspective that Dorey-Stein brought to the Obama Whitehouse and she has a fun, readable style. However, I really wish this book didn’t centre so much around her Whitehouse love interest and affair because he sounds truly insufferable and low-key abusive. It was painful to read and even more painful to endure her continued affection for him (no judgement, we’ve all been there but STILL). A superficial book that could have been so much more.
