Poor Little Sick Girls: A love letter to unacceptable women by Ione Gamble

emotional funny hopeful fast-paced

The book in question is a well-crafted and delves into the struggles of living with chronic health conditions. As someone with similar experiences, I found myself sharing many of the same feelings and emotions expressed by the author. Despite not having the exact same condition, I could relate to the overlapping symptoms and empathised with the author's journey.

However, I must admit that the book did not offer me anything new. I did not feel like it provided any fresh or unique insights into the world of chronic illness. Nevertheless, I found it to be a quick and easy read, and I believe any story that sheds light on women's struggles with chronic illness, the medical community's lack of understanding, and the importance of feminism is a valuable one.
