When I found out there was a sequel to Mickey7 I was so excited I could continue Mickey’s story!
I really enjoyed it for the most part. Mickey is definitely a sarcastic guy and I loved his inner dialogue in the first book. It seemed there was less of that in this one, and we got to see his more serious side.
His character in the first book was very self minded, whereas in this sequel he was doing everything he could to save his colony. I liked his character development overall.
I liked getting to know and learn about the creepers a bit more in this one, and even other species on the planet as well. The interactions were fun to read.
The ending was great. I thought it really rounded out Mickeys story and helped us as readers really understand him.
If you enjoy science fiction with unknown planets, alien species and human survival mixed in with a funny main character, this is the series for you!
