I loved everything about this book. I think this might be the first book I’ve ever read where I was actually surprised by the plot twist, or multiple twists as it is, and didn’t guess it ahead of time. Something that was so compelling to me was that this world that they live in seems like it should be classified as a dystopia, as dystopias are usually just an exaggerated part of our own society, but it felt like reality, like it’s a not so distant future

I’m not gonna lie tho I’m still a little confused by the ended and whether or not Cee decided to save humanity. When I first read it I thought she decided to save herself as in not face termination, but when I went back to reread it, it seems like she might’ve woken them up to “give herself a purpose.” Though tbh this could just be bc I was literally just thinking about how I want to read a story where the characters hold the fate of their world in their hands and DON’T choose to save it.
