I’d really like to give this book 3 1/2 stars and almost a 4 but it was just a little slow in spots. The building of background of the characters slowed the reading down and although I discovered the need for the background later, I found myself being impatient. The plot and characters were good and well developed. Note: I listened to the audiobook.
