Brilliant and powerful installment in the trilogy. While I loved Ismae and Duval's romance more, I still enjoyed Sybella and Beast's interactions and quiet passion. We finally get to know Sybella's demons and secrets, and I hope we'll see her and Ismae with their respective knights in the third book.

I'm sorry about Julian - in my opinion the author should have given him a chance to have his own storyline in the third book - it's such a waste to kill a charismatic character with enormous potential :-(

Can't wait the next book and highly recommend the series to everyone!
