Diverse cast of characters: Complicated

At last we reach the end. (Spoolers) If only I could say upon turning the final page it actually led to a door that led to another version of england which led to the REAL england and a massive lion was prancing about. All it seemed to do was make it night time (iykyk)

This guy really loves Jesus it’s quite impressive to have made an entire 7 book series about the guy.

Not sure how I would have felt if I’d have read these as a child. Probably quite confused but who knows maybe I’d have been more open to religious ideas being forced upon me in the form of primary school songs (shoutout to the resurrection rock) and I’d have turned out a devout Christian. I can see it being a very attractive way of thinking that if you end up eventually getting hit by a train you just go live in some mega world with Aslan. Very comforting. Nice touch adding in that
Susan becomes a self obsessed bore who no longer believes in Aslan so doesn’t go to cool Narnia.

Ending was maybe a bit too on the nose, happy everyone is reunited in heaven but I suppose it’s a children’s book and he needs to make the religion appealing so as to indoctrinate as many youths as possible.

Idk just rambling at this point. Very interesting. Recommend the series tbh. Very fucking weird but some of the most creative and fun characters/plots I’ve read.

Also that donkey 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
