Love & Rehab by Jay Crownover

5.0

From the very first page, I was pulled into Affton and Cable's mostly hate relationship. With powerful emotions (like hate), you KNOW there's gonna be plenty of passion--and there was.

I loved Affton. She was hesitant at first to get involved through reasons that I could completely understand, but despite those reasons and her initial hatred of him, you always feel the undercurrent of more.

This book focuses on addiction and mental health, and while it's not a textbook example, I actually really liked that about it. It felt more like a personal account, from both the addict and those that love them.
