The lead up was very very well done, however, I personally felt the ending was very cliche and boring. But the ending is my only issue with the book. I just feel the "I'm a killer because I'm a psychopath" is very boring reason, and it would have been a million times better if Vera had been a killer out of grief by her past mistakes
