This was mostly not good. The characters behave nonsensically. You can see the narrative choices made to get to a particular place at the expense of coherence or character. It is way too long for the little plot we have. It's also quite meandering and repetitive.
I will be reading the next one though because apparently this is now an ACOTAR sequel, which I hate, because this series does not deserve the ACOTAR characters
