It started out SO good. The moment you learn you are reading from 'this' pov is so well done, very nice and subtle.

And then... I lost interest at some point, which is sad because the concept is so cool.
I do like that the author tried to create a world with other kind of species and 'minerals' but it was not explained enough. You were left hanging and have to figure out yourself what was meant.
There are also so many names that are dropped like Stanislas, Misulah, Mackinita, Atie. Maybe I missed it, but who the fuck are they? And I feel like the story dragged on a bit too much.

And the ending? Wtf just happened? I am so lost. It went from 4.5 stars in the beginning to 2.5 stars. Wouldn't recommend this book because there are too many questions for me. Gothic horror might just not be my genre.

Random addition: it is so hard to read the Franko accent 😭 Especially as a non native speaker
