super quick, fast paced read. i'll give it that.
overall very predictable in my opinion, i didnt mind the ending because it was exactly what i thought would happen. the characters are a touch cartoonish, the writing tropey and a little corny. it's giving creepypasta i read at 13 yrs old. it kept me from caring about the characters (though i felt genuinely bad for alison) and none of it scared me, let alone evoked much of a reaction at all. respectfully. parts of it reminded me of some of my favorite media so i think it makes sense that an underdeveloped amalgamation of concepts i Love would fall flat for me. also to just say it, i think it's trying a little too hard to be house-of-leavsian. taking itself a little too seriously. i have more thoughts on this but i already feel like an asshole so whatever.
