Did not finish book. Stopped at 22%.

The character development was based almost entirely on it being an adaptation and not on creation of individual characters, particularly for Roma. Juliette felt like a YA trope minefield. I wasn't enjoying it, will not pick up the sequel, and since the book club meeting for this title passed, I didn't choose to finish it.
