I’ve had this book in my TBR for a couple of weeks now after finding the author on TikTok.
Now the book is her debut novel and it didn’t disappoint!!
I read the book in a span of a couple of hours, and as I much as wanted to hate Hunter, I loved him even more.
I related to him, a lottt, but he earned a huge spot in my heart.
Don’t want to leave a lengthy review so I won’t spoil anything but definitely check CW, this book handles real dark shit and just knowing that there’s a REAL FUCKING HUNTER out there makes my heart ache and sad that I wouldn’t even have chance for his own heart tbh.
But the book handles his issues nicely, now I do have to say that I expected more grovel from his end BUT I won’t put that on him lol
Marley was just a nice character to read on, her mannerisms and everything made her be relatable. She bonded strongly with Hunter even just a friend and I loved that.
Tropes: enemies to lovers, forced proximity, small town(? Not sure but felt like it lol , Dark/traumatic past
