When I first read the Warriors books growing up I actually started with the second series, The New Prophecy. I didn’t read this series until after I finished the Power of Three series, and I didn’t care for it as much. I still think the other series are more interesting, in part because I find Firestar to be a bit boring. I do plan on rereading all the books, but I’ll likely skim the rest of the books in the first series just because I care for them the least.
With that being said, I think this is a fantastic series over all and would definitely recommend it for younger readers. It was really a defining series in my life, and I started out writing Warriors fanfiction (it was all terrible, but still lol). I’ll always treasure this series for that fact alone, but I’m not sure that adult/teen readers would find them as good as a younger reader/long time fan. They almost feel like soap operas now that I’m older lol.
