The Scorpio Races
by Maggie Stiefvater
I heard about this book because of its tenth anniversary, and not sure why I haven’t picked this up sooner. So, I can see how classic the writing is because it’s withstood all this time — it’s beautifully descriptive and unique. This makes it so easy to get lost into the world that Stiefvater has built. This book is totally underrated IMO.
The characters were so lovable, and this story has a soul of its own.
Puck has the cutest little brother and I love that she tries her best to help keep him innocent. The characters are SO YOUNG – all on their own – and dealing with very adult struggles… sigh, my heartstrings… The dynamic between Puck & Sean was perfect in every way. I loved it. <3
