kwilmore225 's review for:
The Trapped Wife
by Samantha Hayes
Absolutely ridiculous and contrived
SPOILERS
A strong, independent, capable (of murder) invites her rapist into her home? She doesn't ask for help from long-time friend law enforcement officer (who shows up only to pat his wife on the forehead because she actually figures something out - how and why she does are just as unbelievable as this law enforcement man finding out that no one in his police force contacted widow as age claimed. He's just chill with that, and never shows up again.
The very, very worst of this Is paedophilia by main character/doctor,'s husband. It's completely ignored. The girl's mom ignores it! This is the most infuriating book whose "twists," only work because all of the characters have names different from the flashbacks. I use "work," loosely here, because you will still figure it out a mile away. Absolutely zero revealing qualities.
