Under the Skin: The Hidden Toll of Racism on American Lives and on the Health of Our Nation by Linda Villarosa

A horrific and detailed insight into medical and structural racism in the US. The personal stories in each chapter add another heartbreaking element, not to mention the all-too-recent COVID pandemic events. Also couldn’t help but compare the depressing similarities to the medical racism that First Nations people in Australia experience.
