Entertaining? Sure, but absolutely ridiculous always. How many times is this girl going to try and off herself? It seemed like we spent so much time dedicated to these long journeys with not much happening, and when something does finally happen it isn’t given nearly enough time. 

The writing is often contradictory and confusing. I went back multiple times to reread certain situations because I wasn’t actually sure what was going on, or who was doing the action being described. 

Undecided if I’ll ever pick up book 3. So far this is incredibly similar to the From Blood & Ash series between the plot points and the writing style.
