Cursor's Fury by Jim Butcher

5.0

The power struggle for High Lord ratchets up a notch with this book. Tavi was sent to study Romatic History (non-furycrafting weapons/tools), when Max shows up to bring him to his next post. Bringing a small battle with him.

Gauis decides to employ the hidden spy for Kalare ... and fans the flames to kick him into acting on Gauis' timetable ... but I don't think he was prepared for Kalare's resources. The battle is on for power, and once again ... Tavi is thrust into a situation that is WAY over his head. As before, he more than steps into the leadership role he didn't ask for ... only this time it's more than just his life on the line.

Again, Foes and Allies combine forces to fight Kalare. Amara and Bernard are fighting on a different front, while Isana has her own personal battle going on throughout the book.
