The Revisionaries
by A.R. Moxon
High concept postmodernism is really my thing, and this has debut novel 600 pages of it. My absorption in the story (which can get pretty ridiculous at times) waxed and waned, but I enjoyed the novel quite a bit. The blurb compares Moxon to Pynchon, but he's really more Tom Robbins (who he slyly alludes to at one point in the book) or Mark Z. Danielewski, with some tricksy typography included amongst other things. I didn't feel like my time was wasted.
