The Six: The Untold Story of America's First Women Astronauts by Loren Grush

5.0

This was such a stunningly in depth book. I absolutely enjoyed getting to learn about the first women in NASA's astronaut program. Their struggles and their incredible accomplishments, this is a great book for anyone who wants to know more about the origins of NASA not just being a white man corporation.

This included not only information about their lives but also a lot of technical knowledge about what they did for training and while on missions. The technical and scientific knowledge passef on was information I really enjoyed learning about.

Out of all the women I really enjoyed learning about Kathy Sullivan the most. She's been to space and the ocean floor, talk about career goals!

Also I loved that the photos included went between chapters and not in the middle of a sentence. That was a fun bonus.
