The first half of the book was captivating enough, I found myself intent to finish it just to see how the story would unfold. But the second half of the book felt rushed and unedited. Where a few words would have sufficed, a few pages were written. Plot twists that were set up from the beginning were, in the end, left out to dry. It seemed like a mash up of genres with no solid plot or character development. The ending leaves you thinking there may be some in the second book but at 500+ pages I'm not sure its worth the time.
