Well, the finale was a little underwhelming, but it was all up a satisfying conclusion, if unsurprising. I thought it might have evoked some emotion but not a lot. I think if Koz had died then that might be more bittersweet, but there was no main characters who died or were even affected much. I think one of the exotiques leaving in the previous book was the most emotional I got in this entire series, which is why I gave it more stars.
