Creative, unique and inspiring. We follow an alien named Jomny who is sent on a mission to observe humans, or humabn.
Opening to the first page cracked me up: where the story begins showing Jomny walking up to tree, asking if it's an "earbth creatur", it replying yes and Jomny happily walking away saying "i hav met a humabn".
The story goes on with Jomny asking many characters they come in contact with what they are. Some identify as an introvert (I felt bad laughing at their cuteness), as too busy to be their friend or say "its not abot who we are, is it abot what we will become". Some of these characters get really deep, which comes as a shock to me at times, and sometimes make other characters cry/question their existence. It goes into depth to even depict nothing as importance, happiness, talks about death, fears of all types, loneliness and so much more.
Everyone's a alien when ur a alien too is a truly enjoyable, breath-taking and uplifting book. Every thought, concern, question and fear that has ever crossed my mind was addressed. It feels like a hug in book form with sprinkles of dark humor.
