What a ride. This was an intense tale of survival and death in Venezuela after the Revolution. The everyday incivilities and danger. The inability of staying in touch with loved ones. The need to recreate ones life to survive. There were many fascinating thoughts expressed in a beautiful way. However, the Author does not shy away from the brutality of life in these times.
