3.0

I'm tired of reading training, schooling, academy sf/fantasy books, but not so tired not to appreciate that this one does it differently and better. And yet the first part of the book was dreadfully dull. And most of the rest of the book just had too many words, too many details. And yet there was so much of this book to like - the politics, the class structure, the differences in the families. Call it 3.5 of 5 and the sequel will go on my to-read list.
