Um... the blurb said that she died... now, I get that there can be all sorts of dying... buuuttt... makes it a little confusing for a potential reader.

I thought this was an OK read. It felt very much like not too much happened. For me, apart from Appple & Kitt's own problems... the biggest plot point should've been the one that was barely given any black ink. For me, that would've been way more interesting... cos, I thought that it was being set up as the main plot from way early on. It wasn't.

I really didn't see the point of Mary... or was that literally a Mary-Sue? Cos, honestly... sighs.

Again, as it seems to me, another tale in which we have an awful seemingly going to happen and then not too much. And, yep, we have the trademark time jumps. I honestly do think that they are used to get out of a corner that has been painted into and the author isn't sure how to get out of. It is something that is recurring in virtually everything that I have read of LLV's...

Ah well. Not a really bad read for me.

13/07/21 Yep - exactly the same thoughts as before...
