I've found the last couple of Battle focused books a bit mediocre but this one was actually a lot of fun. Plenty of twists and turns and the plot kept moving.
There's a couple of dated moments where phrenology and the character of different nationalities are given credence, but nothing too offensive and fairly of its time.
It's all rather silly but I enjoyed it
