The beginning of this book was a little rough for me. There were too many mentions of how Miranda didn't know whether "to laugh or cry" and how each Miranda and Turner didn't know what the other was thinking or feeling. Now this may sound weird, but it makes sense once you read it, I promise.

However, it definitely picked up, and I quickly came to care for these characters and the storyline. I loved both MC's--how broken and tired Turner was and how hopeful, wholesome, and full-of-love Miranda was. They were the perfect compliment to each other, and I loved following their story and yelling at Turner to open his damn eyes. Overall, this is another great read and reminded me of [b:Any Duchess Will Do|15724338|Any Duchess Will Do (Spindle Cove, #4)|Tessa Dare|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1357240391s/15724338.jpg|21399879], which has a similar broken-hero/redeeming-heroine storyline and is one of my absolute favorites.
