I liked this book. It was nice to see more of the main characters from Buried. I liked that we got to know Maggie and Jack a bit better and their baby Hannah. I've enjoyed seeing Jack progress in his career, and this book was no different. Jack seemed to clash with quite a few of his colleagues in this book, and I personally think Harry is having more of an influence on Jack's behaviour in this one. Laura seems to be very up in the air atm in my opinion as in book one she liked Jack and now she's into Ridley? Seems like she moves on quickly. I like that Ridley and DCI Hearst are connecting, although he seems oblivious! I'm looking forward to reading Vanished next.
