Perfection!
Cole & Grace have just enough of a tumultuous reconnection that I didn’t feel the need to throw my kindle entirely.
He’s hesitant to open himself to her, actually downright refuses, and uses standard gross guy behavior to throw her off and push her away.
After having her privacy grossly violated, Grace isn’t going down so easily this time around. She’s ready to show Cole that what he says, does not in fact, go, and she’s not above playing a little dirty to prove it.
Grace May have broken under the previous torment, but she’s not going down without a fight this time. I appreciate that in a heroine.
Recommendation: a great second novel from a new author.
