I really enjoyed this book and can't wait until the rest of the series is released. Zephyr is an essential part of the war effort in planning strategies back in 414 of the Xin Dynasty. She isn't afraid to make the moves that others might not be willing to do, even taking the other strategists head on. 

There are twists and turns, and the characters have great depth. Would highly recommend to those interested in Fantasy and war strategies. Gave me a lighter-LOTR vibe.
